I often wonder,
in my own time,

If hearts can get
what makes them need,

What leaves them beating fast,

What leaves them aching,

I often wonder,

what they wish the most,

Is it all a joke that leaves us aching,

Is it all just teasing and boundless, endless, cracking,

I often wonder,
in your own time,

Do hearts deserve
what they get the most,

Or is my lamentation my own,

Or is my own heart, simply, hopelessly, needlessly, unfulfilled,
