The Code

I know you can see the code    
from the archives of the bay    
look closely and it all becomes    
obvious and crystal clear    
did you know I was already    
speaking to you in that    
fashion at the time    
even on those occassions    
when I did not mean to encode my work    
creating images    
just for the fun of it    
I realize now they too are filled    
to the brim with code    
it's as though my desire    
to communicate with you    
manifested itself subconsciously that way    
as far as the deciphering    
maybe the meaning you attach to it    
as you create it    
sends itself telepathically to the receiver    
but for whatever it's worth    
the code    
is keeping us safe    
from those who would not understand
