Someday I'll Have a Home

someday in the future it won't be like the past
a place where I can lay my head down and have my rest last
no more depending on anybody else in this cruel world I'm in
someday I'll be independent and won't need anyone again
not for the food I need to eat, not for the clothes on me
No someday I'll be finally on my own, responsible for every bill
no parents who arent my parents or a home that not my home
for someday I'll be free to be just who I happen to be
maybe a little house on an old abandoned hill
and once I'm outta here I'll earn everything I'll own
I'll break my break just to be who I am and to be free
It's all I've ever wanted it's all I've ever dreamed about
so don't you ever worry I know what I'm all about and I'm more in then out
I have a heart that's aching simply to be away from everyone I know
somewhere that isn't here, somewhere I can just be home and be me
someday I'll pack a just a few of my things and just go
I'll meet the man I've always loved and then we can be happy
