Snip!
I've got to let you go
have to cut the rope,
something you've already done.
I'm still holding on here.
Must learn to let you fly
without standing underneath
to catch you if you fall.
I have to understand
you can catch yourself
and if you miss
you''ll get back up.
Fly high my son...soar.

I sooo get this brother. It's about the hardest thing to let them do. But hey, they're less freaked about it than we are. And they bounce you know. Kids I mean. This is personal ink my friend. It brought back a lot. Lovely Mr H. Lovely. Thank you.

I can relate to this. We guard them most of their lives till one day we have to let them learn life on their own. We feel the pain they do when they make wrong mistakes just like we did. We hold them again until they heal and then step back again. Never ending luv and comfort we give our children. Enjoyed this precious write. :)

O, my dear Friend,
Such a tender testimonial to the fierce, unconditional love that you have for your son!
It seems to me that you have raised him to posses the ability for self-reliance, and inner-strength...two very important qualities that will help him face life's numerous challenges.
(He's lucky to have you, as his father!)
A touchingly sweet scribe!

What makes this great is simply knowing
that your clearly an involved father, n that you love your child, with so many stories of young children, teens, young adults doing others harm n showing a lack of empathy
it's no longer an assumption for me to think
"of course all parents love their kids" n vice versa!
Excellently done bro! :)
