"Epilogue."

Why are all the paranoids in
their, "Church House," tonight
...
I drive by on my way home from
work and see every parking lot
full and their lights on bright

They've scurried like mice into
their havens, looking for a safe

Heaven

Has someone said that something
dreadful is to come

I sit home and drink my, "Captain
Morgans, Rum," Da-dum-dum-dum

Here the war drum as like, "Paul
Revere," it rides

Heralding the rising tides

The waves come in one after
another, with no ebb in sight

And I smoke on my cigarette
whilst the nicotene burns the
retina of my eyes...

But I don't mind

It's funny how the simple things
feel comfortingly sublime

A song from way back like,
"Candleboxe's," "Cover Me,"

Brings back, Haunting Sundry
Relentless Emotional Memories...

But that's the Refuge that we
all cling to,

"Right!"

Former Innocent By-gone
days when everything was calm
and full of Endless Sight

*Sundry Ramblings of an
overworked Analytical
Intellectual Poetik Mind...
