(....an impossible dream that reflects this reticent longing in my heart, yet I still believe)
…..and we made love
and of ourselves
we've shared many times before
but this time, it was different
it was something so much more
this thing less tangible
beyond our grasp
an aura, an excitement
a magical moment
lest we hold fast ...
...to this dream
We roll around the comfort
of our quiet time to play
contently wrapped up
in each others love
our forever warms up to the dawn of a new day
The softness of her body
draped across me like an airy quilt
warm remnants of the moments
our passions far spent
bodies still connected
to this waking dream....
.... my eyes have seen
a solitary teardrop
slowly falls
down my baby's cheek
happy tears thus she cries
could it be
that the heavens have seen fit
to bless the conception
of life's greatest gift....
…..and her name shall be Cassidy Ann
big, beautiful bright eyes
and a smile that lights up
this dark and uncertain world,
there is hope
I hold her soft, perfect brown skin
against my own and I feel
her mothers deep creative fire
flowing freely as the ink
of her torrid pen
She is a communicator
Crying out with a strong voice decreeing that
I am here.....
….and I won't be denied
a gorgeous intelligence
hidden beneath thick,
raven curls of hair
with just the right amount of verve
and just a pinch of sassy
she is blessed
she is destined for greatness
conceived of our love
forged in the trials of our now
beckoning our collective truth
evolving into our forever.....
You've given unto me the greatest of all gifts,

there truly is no greater joy than looking into those tiny eyes for the first time and they look back at you and smile,and you cant help but smile also..yep no greater joy...
that moment always makes me think of zora neale hurston's their eyes where watching God...
each one smiling in the face of the creator..
ie. the parent created a child,in turn the child created a parent!!! knowing one wouldnt exist without the other..ahhh divine moment
