Inked Escape

Letters inked on his fingers
spelling hope
I wanted to trace each
one with my tongue

traveling up his wrist
in gray wash a snake
wrapped around a
nettle bush
My eyes stung following
the slithering creature
through the needles

his forearm painted in
every color imagined
I placed my warm
touch to his

feeling my name with
my fingertips he silently
breaths saying my name
into my pulsing neck

taking my hands in his
locking our fingers together
he takes my flesh and I'm
wrapped around him

inside my passage I feel his
scars the ones he never really
wanted and his embrace
becomes tighter

his need for me intensifies
with each thrust he delivers
I give him exactly what he
needs pulling him in and
we transcend into each others
escape
