End of Days
I have been misjudged throughout my life
and to death, not a soul will know this man
I am not simple, nor wise, but I have a heart
with immense power to bind and break in two
I bare the scars upon eyes that should not see
carved Ajna knot struck by blades of insight
I have been blinded by love too many times
yet patience and faith is Lord to all heathens
I am a sinner and slave to my ravening fantasies
karma has inflicted ways to skin this hunter alive
strung from willow, bleeding river of 6000 slaves
crushed by false gods of Venus, Jupiter and Mars
I have been misjudged throughout my life
my days are numbered, abut to a perfect end
standing before the almighty, holding onto truth
but what lies within truth without trust to love a god

I think what it all comes down to is that in many or most of the human processes there is an facet of religion hidden in it...
Reads a bit like a revelation...
Enjoyed!

Well, we do walk amongst gods.
Revelations, I like that. You're not the only one who compared the piece to these biblical writings. I think the topic I received in the comp, "End of Days" really compliments my style of writing.
Thanks you so much for your great feedback and constant support, Mourganna.

Excellent - you have it, that 'end of days' style and tone. I see you have thrown a drop of your own blood in, always makes for powerful ink.
Somehow, Case, some irreverence still pervades, although not obvious at first. Diggin' that defiance... Just who is god? The question appears, like it or not.

Thank you, Atakti for your awesome comments. Yes, as always I starve mind of sleep milking my eyes until they bleed and the words just appear before me like some revelation. ;)
Me irreverent? What's irreverent is a priest called Father Nailer, telling me that God is not real, only love is real... so who is God? I like that question, thanks for asking. :)

Indeed...without trust in blind faith, what else is there--really?
Un-approachable power lies within these lines, my friend!
A Piece to Ponder!
Best of Luck, to you, in the comp!

That's an awesome question. without trust in blind faith, reason would overrule our hearts.
Thank you, Enchantress for you awesome comments.

There is a pattern here, Gabriel. I think you enjoy poetry for the sinners.
Thanks for your super cool blessing.
