Well it seemed that Col Boyd advocated for a change in military bureacracy from vertical hierarchy to horizontal command, which meant that warriors need to be trained the genius of war, they should be trained how to think and not to kill. However, the traditional notion of military culture (kill and destroy) seem to pervade much of American society, perhaps because that country is waging a war against its own people. Thus - the punishment for the ability to think is great.

I would like to imagine that artists and poets are still able to think for themselves within the protection of their rare language, as such you demonstrate in your work.

A lot of women have learned to play dumb in a male-dominated society, to protect themselves. But I notice that generally, male, female or whatever, if you have an active and sharp mind, or if you are intelligent, or think differently. you could be punished...
