25g of Cutters Choice tobacco
4 750ml bottles of Leffe
(you don't pronounce the final 'e')
3 bottles of Berberrana Rioja
2 bottles of ginger ale
3 limes
8 mixed bottles of ale
1 pint of milk
2 seabass
brown rice
garlic
salad
I don't buy paracetamol,
nor do I know why I have chosen
to display this voyeuristic insight.
I suppose, I need to make sure
I feel myself, and that I don't get
distracted by something I don't know
whilst the seaguls outside seem lost
and the mechanic fails to answer his phone.
My lonely stomach lining
is weeping up my throat
as I prepare to drag myself
from this bed
and commence another stretch
at getting through the days
the only way I know how.

You're right, there's something tantalizing about the list,feels a bit voyeuristic indeed :P

I wasn't sure what to make of the first half (the list), but the second half is pretty solid, so the whole thing is alright overall. It was an interesting concept for a piece, to be sure. Overall I'd say I'm on the positive side of ambivalent.
