The Little Things

they say its the little things that make people great,
i say its the little things that cause people to hate.
the smallest action of free will can cause disruption,
untill one day it causes an eruption.
i like little things don't get me wrong,
sometimes the smallest things can be the most strong.
but its when your parents misuse power,
knowing that live in the tallest tower.
they can not be damaged there,
everything in life begins to seem unfair.
i don't hate my parents i'm grateful for what they've done,
but they just love to limit my fun. 
limitations here and there on everything i do,
i'm surprised they don't decide how i must chew my food.
one day i'll get out of this dictator ruled place, 
then i can decide when i can shave my face!
for now i'll sleep like a beast in a cave, 
and try my hardest to be nice and behave.
