Smiling

You know I'm at the edge don't you,
Don't be alarmed, no need to sound me out,
Pushed me here you did, but I thank you for the
pressure on my back, but this edge I see
to embrace and fall is mine to decide.
I don't see a hard landing,  always I see you
softening the blow,  smoothing as best the path.
there's no fear when I'm with you,  helping each other
we've overcome,  made alliances with fear and concerns,
Your right, I know where you are, on the other side of the
edge, waiting to fall too.
there's a comfortable aura where we are right now,
Catch me, each other, to live, breathe, be happy,  that's easy,
leaving comfortable safe walled tapestry is not so clear
no amount of pushing will help, though you know this as you
have the same thoughts.
be it known, I so want to, with you,  just fall, in time it'll happen
keep smiling.
