Real time is only a continuation of space indeed. Excellent write. I love it. I had an idea a long time ago for a scifi novel where telescopic lenses are aligned upon planets for a glimpse across an enormous span of the universe (haven't worked out how these lenses would peer through all the space debris) and an earth like planet is glimpsed. People watch in a hush as the images resolve and the galactic telescope focuses in further on a continent, further to reveal a clash of armed forces. it is a famous battle between Pompeii and Julius Caesar. Because space and time are relative and time, as you said, is a calculation of motion through space, they discover infinite earths from ascending periods of time across the universe.

It is a good day when you can express yourself and have someone understand.  Your scenario is much like mine; the answer is reflection maybe.   I had an idea for a world rainbow but decided that the rainbow itself would cause a flood across the globe, but its still fun to talk about.    
 
Hypothesis on Project Zenith:  If I could get enough people gathered on one hemisphere at equal distances in equal compartments of longitude and latitude, each holding a mirror straight up at high noon on summer solstice  (which is my birthday by the way)  
 
In theory, the other side of the world would witness the light flowing symmetrically in all directions.   The light in the atmosphere would be massive and start bouncing, traveling peripherally and encircle the Earth. There would be every color of the spectrum too because of all the different temperatures the light would pass through, and irradiance because of the angles.  Would that work?   I was thinking beryllium film for mirrors, it can withstand a lot of thermonuclear energy.  Here's the issue: 1 (YJ) is "enough energy to heat the entire volume of water on Earth by 1 °C"   "The thermal output of the Sun is approximately 400 YJ per second."  
 
And so the problem: The concentration levels in thermonuclear output against the mirrors; light is always traveling so has velocity, and the velocity of light wouldn't be enough to travel out of earth's atmosphere, and so the sudden increase in temperature may cause flooding.  
 
I don's know any of that of course but that's what I was thinking.  Physics is relaxing and where I go to unwind.   It shows me things that I have never seen before and so I question myself all the time.  I question myself because of the social conditioning of women.  That's been my experience anyway. The social conditioning of woman goes very deep.

then I guess I could change a partial aspect in one of the dynamos of physics to write about...until some Math teacher comes and slaps me in the face with reality.  :)  and that's cool...
