A candle in the window burns
Breathing silhouettes dance upon rice paper
swirls bend and curve curling under palladian
rays cast colour glint crystalline
as sun breaks from overhead view
a torch lit riding on cusp of twilight
Erstwhile snakes slither in the garden
pressing to blade pressures lain soft belly
where wild Groh's unknown, smother
grasses still rise wet with new
blooming with dandelion chickweed and brass button dew
Cross the threshold sighs sacred solace
belief and peace therein contained, whispers pabulous
costs pummeled, crushed into grains
feeding blessed sustenance, breads of life
inside, they dance Hearts hearth, home
swirls bend and curve curling under palladian
rays cast colour glint crystalline
as sun breaks from overhead view
a torch lit riding on cusp of twilight
Erstwhile snakes slither in the garden
pressing to blade pressures lain soft belly
where wild Groh's unknown, smother
grasses still rise wet with new
blooming with dandelion chickweed and brass button dew
Cross the threshold sighs sacred solace
belief and peace therein contained, whispers pabulous
costs pummeled, crushed into grains
feeding blessed sustenance, breads of life
inside, they dance Hearts hearth, home

Such gorgeous details as always, Soulman, and the words flow so well with the images dovetailing effortlessly. That terrific touch you have where the words burn gently like that candle in the window. Great job !
