Sparrow Chimes
A song sung by sparrows
as they gather in the dead
branches
Frozen winter paradise
upon nature as sunlight
deceives
Cold invades everything
the tiny birds song turns
silent
Little skeletal bones are
left in the branches as
chimes
When the cold wind blows
the bones whistle a winter
song
as they gather in the dead
branches
Frozen winter paradise
upon nature as sunlight
deceives
Cold invades everything
the tiny birds song turns
silent
Little skeletal bones are
left in the branches as
chimes
When the cold wind blows
the bones whistle a winter
song

I just realized I don't hear the little birds out my window anymore. Just the rustle of the bare branches. Thanks for reading rM.

I love this piece. Your connection with nature is comforting. One of my favorite sounds in that of wind chimes...the ones described here might be a little macabre for my hearing :)
