Ormolu

Stand still in rough waters
Stay peaceful in mind
As a sweet reaping bounty,
Lures the seasons new tide
Music of tempests
And insanity of pride
Play onward, pass on,
Always with gifts,
To be placed to the side
It's a song for vain wit,
That plays, its foster will cure,
The truths of it fake, but how,
Oh how much we endure
The needless of shame
One of much ormolu
To hang on a bough.
And wills that do break,
Then fall to the ground.
Rich in the making,
To start over somehow
Keeping traditions hold hard
Testing these waters;
Thoughts of the fool
There’s a beauty that calms
Orpheus’s charmed truth
The old soul that never rests
A resonant song and lyre,
You thought it had gone
As Venus shines near
All that can see to stand still in the bright
A chorusing peace is sustained
The moonbeam and wanderer quiet
