Missing You
Loving you is easy; missing you not so much. I long to hear your voice and feel your touch.
When I don't feel you near as time goes by, my face may show a smile but all my heart can do is cry.
They say distance makes the heart grow fonder. Distance for me is like a storm full of thunder.
I wonder if you are simply asleep; are you well or is there reason to weep.
Missing you is hard to bare. I long for your kiss; to share the same air.
My body misses you deep within; I'm only complete when we are skin to skin.
To be close enough to smell your cologne; to touch your body and hear you moan.
Even when I miss you I know you are there; that you love me and deeply care.
Missing you makes my days longer. Missing you makes my love stronger.
I miss you because I love you and you alone. I guess I will miss you until we call the same house, home.

This almost has the feel of a format poem. Did you follow a format when you wrote? If not, I would play with line break a bit to make it a bit quicker to read and digest. It helps to draw the reader in a bit more and makes a re-read more probably for people like me. Also, I might reconsider the repetitious rhyming as I feel it draws away from the subject for me, distracts me from the full substance of the poem.

Thanks for the feedback. I rarely use a format or even research poetry forms. I just write whatever I'm feeling at the moment
