Tears of Suicide
Her smile is radiant
As if it will never fade
But that is just a cover
In her dark masquerade
On the inside she is cursing
At the pain she tries to withhold
She’s disguising her hatred
That cannot be told
How starved she is
Her eyes for blood
Hungering to witness as it
Becomes a crimson flood
A flood on the floor
She doesn’t want this feeling
She doesn’t want to suffer anymore
Hesitantly, she makes the first cut
A sweet and welcomed release
The laughter of her family rings in her ears
She sees the world before her the world
As a much better place
So she keeps cutting
Hastening her pace
She crumples to the floor
And silently begins to weep
Until her eyes close for the last time
Lost forever in eternal sleep
Her family’s cries
Is all that is heard
They mourn for their loss
Her life was like a bird
For it had flew
Just as quickly as it came
Leaving pain and grief
And a lifetime of rue
How could one so pretty
Do something so ugly?
How foolish she was
It is her family I pity
As if it will never fade
But that is just a cover
In her dark masquerade
On the inside she is cursing
At the pain she tries to withhold
She’s disguising her hatred
That cannot be told
How starved she is
Her eyes for blood
Hungering to witness as it
Becomes a crimson flood
A flood on the floor
She doesn’t want this feeling
She doesn’t want to suffer anymore
Hesitantly, she makes the first cut

The laughter of her family rings in her ears
