    Stare

             Nothing

"Hey!"

     "What?"

             Nothing

Something needs saying
A little nagging thought
Antsy fingers flutter about
Words just won't come out

Like an annoying child
Going "Poke, Poke, Poke"
You scream "WHAT?"
They giggle and say "Nothing"

Maybe I'm thinking too much
Or I've lost my poetic touch
I hate everything I write
Try and try as though I might

If you ask me
What do I feel?

I'll simply reply with
"Nothing"
