Moon Goddess

I love the night
Moon Goddess
Feeding her child

Lunacy, maniac fantasies
Freeing my mind
Letting me see

All that is hidden from me
Shadows that race with the moon
Doing her bidding

Coming undone at the seams
Loving mother moon, come console
This child of the night

I can't sleep this eve
With your pull, ebb and tide
I feel your passion

I work for you
Serve you gladly
Bless me this night

Let me lose my loneliness
Boiling in my soul
Where sadness abounds

I would wither without you
Goddess, you are the lovely Dianna
Mother of all that is dark and dangerous

Misunderstood beauty
Of the dark
What would the sun be without you?

In the night we run naked
As the day we were born
No shame, no shadows cast by the day
