MAYBE HE WAS PUSHED AWAY!!!
Maybe He Was Pushed Away

Maybe he was pushed away, from a woman who didn't know how to stay
because her relationship philosophies were based off lyrics to beyonce
to the left, to the left, I can have any man in a minute
but see with that mentality she shows she's never really in it to win it
because her actions are a direct reflection of that perception
perceiving her glass as half empty
when she really could've appreciated that she had plenty
see maybe he was pushed away to go sleep on the couch
because she would rather whine and pout instead of just talk it out
you see you can get that shit off your chest
so we can finally get some rest after u smile and feel blessed
that we handled the stress.....
but no, you would rather start world war three
now we're back and forth with this shit til next week
see maybe he was pushed away because of her attitude
how he couldn't ever get her to smile in his face
but notice she does it so easily any other place
now it's ok to feel hurt or upset or even let down
no one's trying to take that from you
and a real man is supposed to take accountability for his actions but enough is enough
so u mean to tell me if u get pissed off he doesn't deserve communication or compromise
and motherfuckers wonder why domestic violence is on the rise
see it's because of pride cause it's a thin line
between a man feeling sorry for his actions and wanting to right his wrong
and him saying now look bitch hold on
Now I may have messed up but I be damned if u down or disrespect me
cuz see maybe he was pushed away because of those actions u made
how they were not based off logic but off emotion
from the heat of the moment but don't you know it
just adds fuel to the fire
when u cause unnecessary drama to transpire
or maybe.. maybe he was pushed away to go cheat
because the nigga got tired of beating his meat
see now since sex is just this good boy treat
he gets more action out in the streets
than at home in between his motherfuckin sheets
so ladies some advice from me to you
before you take pride in doing what you have to do
just don't be surprised if he does too

Lots of good points here. But one part leaves me wondering if maybe she was "pushed" (physically) once by someone. Perhaps that's a reason she may not want to talk, fear of domestic violence. It's these lines here that I ponder:
