"The Creeping Silence," (Feel it).

Muted, silenced

Laws like nails fashioned
Effectively close-tight mouths now

Threats breathed-out to induce
fear, if our liberty spoken like words
of joyful elation to every man, they
decide their ears do not wish to hear

But free-birds and men with un-fettered
hearts fly the highest when their wings
have not been clipped

Yet erroneously men seem to think that
through false smoke-screen of, "Progression,"
they advance, when unbeknownst to them
through opportunistic desires
of the slavish this is only beguilement

To once and all procure their cherished
Freedom and quench its eternal flame
Douse it with an age-old hatred
A loathsome sore
Festering, itching below sub-cutaneous
surface

Waiting for the right mixture of societal
norms and, "Political Correctness," to

Re-emerge

But first, precept must be upon precept, precept
upon precept; line upon line, line upon line;
here a little, and there a little; that they might
go, and fall backward, and be broken, and
snared, and taken.
