Petals Fall

  As the Rose petals fall She says her goodbyes,
 As the leaves turn orange she sees she will die,
 The earth around her has darkened so,
 The sky has become a shade of gloomy grey,
 God is calling her name today,
 She falls to her knees and screams and pleads,
 for one more day to end it correctly.
 Her wish Isn't recognized and She knows she must die.
 Soon she will be a star in the sky.  
 
 The last petal falls,
 She cries as she dies,  
 Taking her last breath she screams her lovers name,
 He doesn't hear for he isn't near.
 
 She falls to the ground,
 Cold as the snow soon to fall,
 a resting beauty never to awake.
 
 He knows how she felt,
 but he's to selfish to see,
 the things she said were not meant to harm him,
 but to show him her fear,
 she was scared and felt alone,
 just wanted him to hold her close,
 now she's cold,
 Forever she is gone...
