Dear Anonymous

Damn feelings like deja vu
here we go again

being run over by a train
is the power hit you are

this night smothering me
a still born thought

I can't wrap my mind around you
or figure out why I try

believing I love you
hurting cos I do

afraid to approach
with trepidation I think on it

thinking my legs would buckle
on the way to your doorway

we've talked before
but when things got too hot

I always backed away
running away on trembling legs

fear at getting too close
gripping my heart

you make me feel all jittery
a poet that touches my wet spot

sets me on fire at just
the thought of you

feeling the moon and stars
crash down on my head

listening to you read
you're a mind blower

and you know it
