PILLOW BOOK

The fresh smell of immaculate sheets
Lipstick on glasses of deep red
Paired in this sacred scene
on the table aside the bed

The sight of albast skin on white
Untouched, unwritten perfect leaf
Waiting to be eagerly filled
By future lines of make believe

Carefully following the curves
With sighs of unfolding lust
Unspoken, never uttered words,
Told with secret feelings brushed

Sensual ritual of black inked strokes
Dipped in puddles of tenderness
Flawless play of seduction signed
In mutual consuming of the flesh

(Inspired by Peter Greenaway's Pillow Book)
