 Do you see these scars
Do you feel my pain
Are you emphatic enough
to stand with me and feel
the pounding rain

As the gale impales my
soul with intense force, I
wonder if all of the consequences
that I'm facing were brought-on
by my choices

By mine and mine alone or were
their other forces involved that
intentionally or indirectly helped
this on-slaught
I'd hate to think that my decisions
were cause for all of this conflict

If I knew that someone was
malicious enough to wish this kind
of shit
I'd tell them to suck my
It'd me relieve this itch

But when we celebrate, we celebrate
with everyone and when we suffer,
we stand alone
And when I drift away into my dark
corner, I introspect, not on my
failures
But what brought me into this fucked-up
world
