The sky is crying
To cleanse away
The sins of today
And make anew
The canvas of tomorrow
The sky is crying
At the horrific scenes
Played upon the land
Cruel and blood ridden
Man upon fellow man
The sky is crying
For the hope that ebbs away
And no savior in sight
The sky is crying
For the coming
Of our twilight

Very well written, a truly beautiful peace
when I was reading through it the first thing came to mind was the sky crying is Gods tears, as if he's powerless to do anything and all he can do is watch as it all happens.
I really enjoyed this piece you've done an excellent job when writing it
