I was raised by a mother who was tough & assertive. A bare-knuckle brawler, a mountain woman. That set a major precedent for the rest of my life when it comes to women. I admire the thorns as much as I admire the rose. I would never mistake you for a Sleeping Beauty, Chiyo! Very cool lil poem...hits me right    HERE!
