Guilty Fingers
If half a life were enough
maybe words would mingle
with the life that flows from hearts
and leave these puddles
to stain their own souls
the flicking finger finds fault
in lying questions
not curious enough to raise their heads
with bowing eyes
curls in on itself
and tries to shake clinging dreams
of the distance between closing curtains
