Not So Grande
War plagues the Rio Grande
Leaving gory testaments in its sand
Telltale tire tracks in the mud
Places that are splattered with blood
A body that washed up on the shore
Leftover from last nights horrid gore
They slit his throat, watched him bleed
Took his wife as a sex slave
No remorse for their deed
Snipers lurking in the bushes near
Striking the civilian heart with fear
Standing on the banks of the Rio Grande
In a moment could die at the cartel's hand
Entered in the War Zone comp
Leaving gory testaments in its sand
Telltale tire tracks in the mud
Places that are splattered with blood
A body that washed up on the shore
Leftover from last nights horrid gore
They slit his throat, watched him bleed
Took his wife as a sex slave
No remorse for their deed
Snipers lurking in the bushes near
Striking the civilian heart with fear
Standing on the banks of the Rio Grande
In a moment could die at the cartel's hand
Entered in the War Zone comp
