The Fortunate One.....

I am blessed, not an obsession
but fortunate that my
pen is always filled
with the ink of a technicolor strain

be it imagery of deep blue skies
or gray, sable clouds
filled with the scent of summer rain

my pen is vast
potent.....
�.built to last
stand time's test

and wide enough to cover every corner of your world
It's quill unfurled
and highly qualified
to tease your senses
stir your emotions
to chill and thrill you......
�..to cross the vast expanse
of the deep, blue ocean

�..that separates us, in our now

stroking my *point*
along the seams of your
canvas,
tanned.....and brown

and the copious flow of fervent ink
drives your creative soul to madness
I can feel your love come down

and absorb me......

I'm blessed, I am so fortunate
that you can.....

......feel the sincerity of my flow
connect with my beating heart
as my love pulls you to me, strongly
caught up in the undertow.....

......you already know

�...and allow my words
to massage and nurture
this poetic love
under the moon and stars above

with the simple stroke of my pen
you chose to let me inside
your love, your life
your now..........and if there be an eternity

I am faithful
that you will be right there...........loving me
always extracting from me,
the very best

I really love this poem and the metaphors you are using here. To have this kind of love -- I am sure she feels just as fortunate.....
I am also very curious about you being able to hear her voice while waiting in a very long line of strangers...... :)
