Return to dust
No where to go
Nothing to see
Don't want to know
Feeling unhappy
Trying to keep a stiff upper lip
All I want is a to take a dip
Into the cold blue sea
Float away for eternity
Never to return
Don't care if I burn
At least it'll be better than here
Can't even drown myself in beer
Nothing to soothe the pain
Ease the strain
Why do I care
Leave myself bare
Let them break down the wall
So they can drag me down the hall
Chuck me out the door
As if I'm some unwanted score
Another peg on the post
Sacrificed to a demon host
Letting myself be hurt over and over
Sometimes I wish I was covered by clover
Free from this world
Sanity unfurled
Tormented by life
Always full of strife
Determined to drag me down
Right in the middle of town
Hang me from the nearest pole
Put me in an unmarked hole
Leave me to rot
That is my lot
It's looking that way
Day after day
Only friend is the dark
To whom I am just a lark
Go on I must
Rather return to dust
Nothing to see
Don't want to know
Feeling unhappy
Trying to keep a stiff upper lip
All I want is a to take a dip
Into the cold blue sea
Float away for eternity
Never to return
Don't care if I burn
At least it'll be better than here
Can't even drown myself in beer
Nothing to soothe the pain
Ease the strain
Why do I care
Leave myself bare
Let them break down the wall
So they can drag me down the hall
Chuck me out the door
As if I'm some unwanted score
Another peg on the post
Sacrificed to a demon host
Letting myself be hurt over and over
Sometimes I wish I was covered by clover
Free from this world
Sanity unfurled
Tormented by life
Always full of strife
Determined to drag me down
Right in the middle of town
Hang me from the nearest pole
Put me in an unmarked hole
Leave me to rot
That is my lot
It's looking that way
Day after day
Only friend is the dark
To whom I am just a lark
Go on I must
Rather return to dust
