Questioning everything
as I drink my liquor
while smoking a cigarette
is it real if it's not
bare knuckles
ass to the wall?
i'm going ten rounds
with a monster
who knows MMA
knows all the dirty tricks
fighting it out and losing
getting punched in the skull
as I duck and dive
everyday I get up
say i'm not going to drink
fail, fail, fail
no tears come fuck that shit
too much water under the bridge
to start crying now
I want to be a fighter
of the finest order
not needing alcohol
to chase away the ugly
that comes knocking daily
until then cheers.
