Desert Heart
She appeared unto me as if a mirage
In my desolate desert heart
I thirst for her love
My radiant dove
But alas my soul is parched
If she could only trust
the possibility of us
Shed quench my thirsty soul
Then id become whole
Lest my heart crumbles into dust
I tried to resist her lure
But my strength could not endure
Who knew love could cause one so much stress
Buzzards overhead they soar
Waiting till I hit the floor
To descend upon me
and devour my flesh
Love me I beseech you
If my desperate words could reach you
Wherever you are is where I want to be
So love me never leave me
Then my darling love believe me

The parts I like best... "But alas", gives it a Shakespearian feel makes you think of old time romance. The theme of the desert is maintained throughout, stressing the dryness=lack of love, oh! The buzzards waitin for you to collapse, stresses the desparation, youre so close to the end buzzards can sense it. And damn, the last line..took what I saw in my mind a guy in a desert, the girl like a glass of water, but no, a desert meeting the sea; not little, but grand love.
