Aphrodite
None of my words ever seem to do you justice
still I try merge my emotions with these verses
I'm cursed when I'm not with you...such a beautiful evil
you combine my conscious and my unconscious
I mean I try to think logically
like is this something I can touch
is this something tangible
most rational people would say I expect to much and it really doesn't exist
but how can my heart be so aggressive towards something thats non existent
I guess its just hope…for a hopeless romantic
I'm just a slave this lovers religion
enchant me with your elegance
your…presence is the only reason I seem relevant
without you I would just erode away
and become a sediment as angry skies expose my
brittle heart to the elements
you ….were created from the hands of
prometheus he... must be a perfectionist
I place you amongst gods and goddesses
because any other description of you would be modest of me
you rival all beauty…you are the inspiration of love in
embedded in the human psyche

The author encourages honest critique.
The title caught my eye immediately. One of my favorites, She is. Can you think of a better fate than to be loved-to-death by Her amazing grace? I can't. Perhaps I feel this way about Her because She always seems to be way out of my reach. Hopeless romanticism is often a recipe for disastrous pain & failure, but who can resist Her when She comes slinking in your life, eh? Great piece. Enjoyed your reading, too. Welcome.

This is enjoyable to read - I feel a real sense of consummate skill. This work presents a satisfying unity. I have a totally different reading style - but when I read this aloud it is easy and hugely enjoyable.
