A Poem My Baby Wrote For Me
I'm just going to make it clear right now that I did not write this. I apologize if posting this is against the rules, and I'll delete it if it is. My boyfriend reads the poems I write for him and he wanted to write something for me. He doesn't write all the time like I do and he doesn't consider himself a poet or anything. He doesn't think too highly of it, but I think it's sweet and it's very special to me. He wanted to know what y'all thought of his write.
Duh I love you
More than I can explain
Sorry if I don't make that clear
But your the only one I hold dear
No matter how I act at times
Just know you will always be mine
No matter how hard times get
I just hope you will never forget
That I love you and I need you in my life
For you I don't care what I sacrifice.
I know at times I feel like I'm trapped
Like a mouse under a cats paw
I know I won't ever be set free but just know
The kind of trapped I feel isn't bad it's just like you my heart wasn't used to it.
I love you baby just never forget
That you belong with me and only me.
Ps. This was in reply to a song I wrote to him when I was scared he was going to leave me. I didn't post it on here because I hold my songs a little more personal than my poems. Weird, I know.
