Graduation Day
Patience is never my strong point
But its a worthy subject I'm happy
To research up on
Even if it's a two year study term
Till graduation
Preferences are for half that time
But I'm learning by the day about
Patience
It's a good thing for me to let it out
Every now and again
Never hurt intended
Your still my number one
You know I'm not going anywhere
And your steadfast stance
Makes me love you more
It'll happen
When it's ready
Not before

I fully believe in research and being patient is hard. I'm sure when you are patient for the one you love, he knows how much he means to you.

So many times I should have kept these words close. I will think of this poem in the future, along with a few hard-won lessons. Impatience leads to petulance, & this leads to regret. Eats at my insides sometimes. I didn't always do my homework. You know what they say about hindsight. I love the warm strength in your words. Thank you, Rose.

Two years? I have less than six months to wait and I am going mad....

I try personally not to dwell on timescales
But sooner the better
I think worst case often with the man I want to be with
Two years or under
Imho I'd be surprised if it went longer than next year
Always twists and turns
He gave me great advice yesterday about thinking out unknown or unforeseen problems before they happen, lesson the fear and be ready with the answers never tread blind be aware
He said loads of sayings lol
But he's sensible and I trust

Whoever he is Rose, don't give him your heart until he has earned it. Like graduation. I guess I've always flunked at love, so sometimes it break my heart to see someone march on towards it so... Patiently. I admire you, your pure sentiments (you know that). Anyways, lovely write, keep on truckin.

I do look at the flip side just as much
I don't do regrets so I say it how it is
Never looking back wishing I did or said
Something different
Makes me content
Whatever life throws up
Thats why I come across as overly keen
Boardering obsessive even
But as I said
I look at the other avenues just as much
As the one I'd love to take
And anyway your right
