Temporary Regression/Permanent Progression

Temporary Regression/Permanent Progression

I had seen a dream of me and you, and even as time has passed, at times that fantasy is still all I see, even now I cant help but wish and pray for your happiness, just because I cant see you doesn’t mean my feelings are as absent as you are from my sight, there is no escape from you, the trembling and apprehensive sensation when your close to my thoughts, the nightmares that wake me in a dreadful panic with the fear of the closeness of death because of your presence, this is madness, my insanity has become my sanity, my obsession has become my normality, my eyes are wide shut and so is my heart, if it wasn’t for your love my heart would be open to the world, now it is disconnected before the connection even begins, my vision focuses on moments that distract me from complete affection for another, I have grown to be less then who I was and more then the lesser me which you loved, so between the regression and progression from past to present I lay at a confused median of who I am and how I will love another, seems like the farther I run the more I wonder in the back of my mind if I am really running away from the memory of you, or do I want to be running in a circle that will eventually return me to you, truth is my will is strong but there are occasions where I want to gravitate to your comfort primarily because you are all I know and all I’ve loved, but this foolishness is only temporary for I still believe in a love more powerful then what is past, the possibilities are too endless for these current limitations that haunt my mind, my heart deserves the permanent and not the discontinued fictions, so every tear for you, every dream, thought, and fantasy is one less that plagues me, one less that I wont ever have to encounter again, they will vanish and will overwhelmingly be replaced.
