Meeting down the lane

 
I met a Christian down the lane
at least I think he was,
he could have been a Jew
and come to think a Muslim,
What else was there . . .
Hindu ,Sikh and Buddist ?
I hear they are of many shades,
but it was dark and getting late;
we said goodnight and turned around
to stumble down the lane.

Again I meet a Christian
