The Fall
The Fall
We spend our life looking and searching
We know exactly what we seek
We know what we wish to find
Time after time we come up short; the mistakes are made thus making us apprehensive, as much as we desire for someone to treasure our hearts, past experiences pain us to give up hope. So when we finally come close enough to what we want to possess, reaching the edge of the cliff and as we peek over the view frightens us, peering over the edge there seems no end is in sight, how can we trust the unknown?
We want to fall but we want to be caught
We want the love but don’t want the pain
We want to trust but we’ve already been lied to
As loud as your conscious is yelling NO!
Your heart will still speak louder for what it’s been longing for…..
So take the chance and fall, and keep falling, when you’ve found a place of temporary security , a place that will make you doubt, that you can use as your escape hatch…fall and keep falling
Feel the rush, find no comfort in your fears, lose yourself in the plummet, bask in silence of the unknown, the quietness of the plunge into the darkness, the fall is meant to show you that this has a chance of being real,
What is at hand is much less than perfection, and flaws are a definite, so pay no attention and keep falling, Cause when you fall in love the possibilities are endless, that’s why The Fall is continuous because love is limitless…

I felt this piece of literature read too directly and needed more figurative features. I like the reoccuring idea within the word "fall," and your creative use of its many meanings.
