GUILT AND BLAME
Have you ever felt the searing heat
Of taking a post death breath?
Needles sticking through your flesh
Giving you rebirth’s caress.
The knife that stabs in your heart,
Can you still feel the pain?
Death was suppose to be a release
Let loose of guilt and blame.
Thoughts of those who were lost
Will they love me still?
A walking corpse with no heart
With the will to kill.
I can still see knives that strike
Into my loved ones flesh.
Screams of anguish stab my ears,
Silence is my only wish.
Why did I return from sleep,
Just to suffer once again?
I have passed beyond the grave
To live again with guilt and blame.
My penance is as a walking corpse
Forced to live on your blood.
Will you kill me once again
And let me rest in the mud?
Of taking a post death breath?
Needles sticking through your flesh
Giving you rebirth’s caress.
The knife that stabs in your heart,
Can you still feel the pain?
Death was suppose to be a release
Let loose of guilt and blame.
Thoughts of those who were lost
Will they love me still?
A walking corpse with no heart
With the will to kill.
I can still see knives that strike
Into my loved ones flesh.
Screams of anguish stab my ears,
Silence is my only wish.
Why did I return from sleep,
Just to suffer once again?
I have passed beyond the grave
To live again with guilt and blame.
My penance is as a walking corpse
Forced to live on your blood.
Will you kill me once again
And let me rest in the mud?
