Sleep
Soothing nighttime slumber
Surrounded by childhood dreams
Night is peaceful black
Careening, a fan circles
Repetitively knocking its casing
The song of today is gone
Wisps of fond remembrance
Dance like fairies of imagination
Sweaty faces glisten under moonlight
Smiles meander coupled with consternation
They dream
Of wonders and creations
The world awaits
Dawn will soon shine
But for now, sweet sleep embraces them

As I travel for work, I am not always near my children. I was thinking about them tonight as they are at home with their mom...this is what came out of those thoughts
