The Little Mouse

There once lived a little mouse
Afraid of the evil outside her house
She looked to dad who by the way
Stood ten feet tall to save the day
But dad, he said it was all in her head
And took her to a therapist instead
The doctor said she was really smart
But the little mouse knew in her heart
The meds the therapist told her to take
Would not work and she'd still stay awake
The little mouse, she did not lose faith
She knew some day that she'd feel safe
She would find the perfect man in time
To protect and give her peace of mind
Sleep and rest for the mouse so small
Would be the way she'd measure all
But with her luck I figure that
Her prince charming will be a cat
