Damn, another year    
Got a few gifts    
from friends and my kids    
Thankful for the thoughtfulness    
that momentarily cures my ills......

on the eve of my birth    
hurtling through space on this    
3rd rock we call earth    
   
2:02 in the am    
I'm still at work    
Trying to make contacts with other artist    
Feeling like a complete jerk because    
my lead singer cancelled on a gig we got to do.    
She's traveling to LA......it's her birthday too.

in the midst of all this busy bee 2:00 am shit......
