cryonics

There will never be a picture of you and me.
Stiff white petals shatter memory
Lost in an unused synapse
A lapse of emotion and it is gone forever

Racked bones splinter with expectant fate
Heart pumping slushy pomegranate
Slow this passage from fever to frost!
I cannot feel your fingertips

The soft, precise movement of your hands cannot hang upon my walls

The smell of our death, mud and breath will not be contained in any frame

What is between us cannot be kept cold.

We won’t be captured
I see you everywhere away from me.
