Before My Big Mouth Got In The Way
Tonight, oh well
tonight was suppose to
be spectacular, a
romantic rendezvous with a
fancy dinner. A
small candle separating you
from me passing
flirtatious looks from our
opposite facing seats.
You sucking on delicious
strawberries dipped in
the most savory of white
chocolate. The arousal
accenting the rose color
in my cheecks,
quickened beats of my chest
to the sound
of your sweet voice.
In my vision
of tonight of course
there would have
been dancing. That would
also entail envious stares
from the other couples.
Afterall, a love
this fine only comes
but once in
a lifetime. Sliding my
fingers from your
bare shoulders to each
curve of your
silky material. Pulling you
in closer to
feel your heart beat
in time with
the soft violinist in
the corner bleeding
out her favorite solo.
I would have
loved to run my
fingers through your
long hair, whispering I
love you over
and over and over again.
The first full
September moon would have
lit up the sky.
Shining it's glorious light
on all this
love on this perfect
night.
