Messed Up World
I look at the world outside
See all the ugly that's in it
Shootings, rapes, wars,
Hoes on Facebook and shit
I see the impending explosion
Of chaos in the Middle East
I look at who's in office here
I'm not encouraged, to say the least
I feel so small and irrelevant
Not Marine or Army material
I'm just a little girl from a small town
Nothing brilliant or special
How could I ever bring warmth
In this cold, cruel, jacked up place?
I hate to see everything like this
I wish could believe in a saving grace
See all the ugly that's in it
Shootings, rapes, wars,
Hoes on Facebook and shit
I see the impending explosion
Of chaos in the Middle East
I look at who's in office here
I'm not encouraged, to say the least
I feel so small and irrelevant
Not Marine or Army material
I'm just a little girl from a small town
Nothing brilliant or special
How could I ever bring warmth
In this cold, cruel, jacked up place?
I hate to see everything like this
I wish could believe in a saving grace
