ONCE...

first, a quick key on how to read this. It is intended to be a song. For the ultimate experience image a slow doom metal riff and read the BOLD print as male metal singer with a guttural voice and howls. This ITALICS are intended for a female with clean vocals. Maybe one day I'll actually record it and post it on here. Until then, I hope you enjoy.

Once upon a time…

I crawled forth from the deepest pits
To take form from the dreams
And prey on man, I could not resist.

Lead me to the river at the break of day,
Charmed by the lost devil’s gaze.
October’s sacred fire holding my gaze,
      Hallowed moonlight illuminates the phase.

She kneels inside the magic ring
Whispering incantations,
Just to bare witness to what I bring.

I can feel the spirits linger from her,
With orgasmic twitching,
Tasting life that’s strong and burns.

Twitching and bewitching,
Demons inside itching to get out.
Pitching and heart wrenching,
Clawing at the flesh to tear its way out.

Her eyes stare with Manticore intent,
Wanting to swim in a sea of blood.
Her fanged mouth giving screaming lament.

Malevolent spirits have taken over me,
Devouring my will among the swaying trees.
My soul it trembles with dying leaves,
Leaving my cries silent in the breeze.

For her the fairytale has just begun,
To prey on the faithful cattle
And the priest that are hung.

She sees all with the Gorgon’s stare,
Turning hearts to crumbling stone
And leave their pieces under the stairs.

Twitching and bewitching,
Demons inside itching to get out.
Pitching and heart wrenching,
Clawing at the flesh to tear its way out.

Lies spit forth from the serpent’s tongue,
Licking at the blood of bloated corpses,
Devouring the flesh to leave only crumbs.

You will all fall to me your Queen of death,
Take my hand and I’ll walk on your path,
Through seas of lament and caves of wrath,
With one final kiss we share, I’ll take your breath.
