I now know why they call something a miracle drug
because with all the side affects and possible new problems
it is a miracle if you are still alive
and there is no guarantee after you pay for it that you will be

I now know why conditions stay the same regardless of who is in power
the people most devoted to changing things don't
have the stomach for the charade
and people make profits on the fears of people
who fear those with less

I now know why the more news I digest the more depressed I get
news isn't about information it is about entertainment
the cup Miley Cryus threw up in
takes precedent over the lack of prenatal care in Detroit

What I don't know is how and when the course correction can be implemented.
