The whispers in my darkness
Are sweet like candy
They calm the midnight thoughts
But keep my demons randy
The touches of my darkness
Are soft like down
They soften the blows
And keep me off the cold hard ground
I revel in my darkness
For reasons you probably couldn't grasp
But listen to what i tell you
The darkness is what will last
